Casual x Cool Couples Love Session at a Vintage Gas Station in Grand Island // Hannah x John // Nebraska Couples Photographer

Hannah and John are not high school sweethearts, but close enough. These two both walked the halls of Grand Island Senior High and although their paths never crossed in high school…fortunately, John’s sister was laying the ground work. John’s older sister happened to best friends with Hannah in high school and ended up playing matchmaker for the pair later on. John went off to work in Chicago and Hannah left for work in San Francisco. The two ended up going on a date when they were both back for the holidays. I absolutely loved Hannah’s energetic and spunky personality. We rocked out to some house music including Donna Summer’s “Bad Girl” track. I’m inspired by the two’s affection and joking spirit that I was able to witness in their session. After having some fun in the sand, we hit up a vintage gas station during blue hour for those casual and cool edgy vibes. Nebraska can be real cool especially when shared with the coolest couple.
